Product Detail
Stainless Steel Recessed Covers
Recessed tray covers in 304 stainless steel for paved areas — plazas, malls, hotels and courtyards — where a visible cast iron cover would spoil the surface. The tray takes your own paving material, so the finished floor runs straight over the chamber. Every cover is made to order to your opening by a partner workshop; Hongcheng confirms the drawing with you and checks the finished covers before dispatch.
Recessed covers are normally used in pedestrian and paved areas. If vehicles will cross the cover, tell us before ordering — the workshop confirms the reinforcement for the location first.

Material & Structure
A Tray That Disappears into the Floor
The cover is a shallow stainless tray set in a matching frame. Your paving — tile, stone or concrete — is laid into the tray, so from above you see only the paving and a fine stainless edge line around it. Lifting keys engage slots in the tray to raise it for access.
Under the tray, welded ribs carry the load across to the frame. Because every cover is made to a confirmed drawing — clear opening, outer frame, number of openings, frame height — the drawing check before production is the most important step of the order.

Questions
Stainless Steel Recessed Covers — FAQ
How do I measure for a recessed cover?
Measure the clear opening of the chamber (inside width × length) and tell us the finished floor build-up. We convert it to the outer frame size on the drawing — for example, a 600×2200 clear opening became a 760×2360 outer frame on a recent order.
Can one cover span a long chamber?
Yes — long chambers use multi-opening covers: one outer frame with two, three or more trays side by side, split to your layout. The 600×2200 example above is a three-opening cover.
What paving can go into the tray?
Tile, stone and similar paving used on the surrounding floor. The tray depth is set by the 50 mm frame height on our recent orders; tell us your paving thickness so the workshop allows for it.
Is it suitable for vehicle areas?
These covers are normally specified for pedestrian and paved areas. If any vehicle will cross, say so in your inquiry — reinforcement is confirmed with the workshop for that case before we quote.
What should I include in my inquiry?
Clear opening size, number of openings, paving type and thickness, quantity, and your destination country (and port, if known). A chamber photo or drawing speeds things up.
